Watch a young child, and you will see an open heart in action as every anger, delight and sadness dances freely through their bodies. By the time we've made it to adulthood, we've often lost the ability to express our feelings honestly and heartfully, to allow waves of emotion to move through and out of our bodies without festering or becoming stuck. And then we wonder why life loses color, we're longing for deeper intimacy, our vitality is constrained and our passions go unlived.

Heartbeat is a dancing shamanic journey into shadow country, into the underworld of forgotten feelings. In this work we invite the energy of feeling that is held within the cells of our bodies to come out and dance. We work with the art of inner listening, following, fluidity and surrender. Our practice is to use the 5Rhythms movement meditation to follow, release and even delight in the rivers of our own emotional waves.

This work is for anyone who wants to transform the weight of old feelings into fuel for creativity, compassion and aliveness.
